Pepé

This work is part of a collective exhibition of posters for the LGBT+ pride week 2019. It was exposed in the city hall of Montevideo, Uruguay. The theme of the exhibition was “When the fear goes away, pride comes”. The character is called Pepé and shows fears and social pressures that are imposed on us as children. Pepé shows that the beginning could be rough, but the rainbow awaits at the end.

Monster Project Allies: Uruguay

I did these characters as part of the Monster Project Allies: Uruguay. They are based on the original characters created by a kid in a school activity. In honor of the young artist, the big green guy is called Khiarelino.

Hoy es un día de esos

dia de esos
dia de esos
“Hoy es un día de esos” (Today is one of those days) is an illustrated diary I´ve been drawing since October 2015. I run the project on Facebook and Instagram

The idea of this illustrated diary is to draw feelings and things that happen to me on a daily basis. They are common things that for sure people will feel the same way. The project evolved in different styles over the years. It has it´s own life, as I pause it for some months and resume it again when I need to do some catharsis.
Here is a speed drawing about the process of creating a diary entry.
